Hello again, WordPress!
I’ve moved all contents of this website to WordPress platform today. The decision seems without much thinking.
I’ve been working using WordPress platform for the last three or more years. I’ve also put some effort using Automattic’s WooCommerce for a couple years, and also its sub products like Membership, Subscription, and even focusing on its Storefront theme. Finally, I really want to contribute back to open source projects more, when I have time. In the near time, I am going to utilize other WordPress’s based tool for Bolasalju project. So why not, let’s go WordPress!
The reason when I avoided a dynamically served website was that I didn’t have decent server. The website seems troubled at many times. Database system often halted and crashed. That was when I turned to Jekyll. When WordPress ecosystem seems matured, why bother thinking about all that fuss?
On December 6, 2018, WordPress Version 5.0, named for jazz musician Bebo, was released to the public. WordPress 5.0 introduce of a new block editor system called Gutenberg. Though I feel the block editor feels slow on my Mac Mini. My main reason is the new Twenty Nineteen theme seems so clean. Let’s start this again.
